Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us,
and we are his; we are his people,
and the sheep of
his pasture. (Psalm 100:3)

For all have sinned and
fall short of the glory
of God, (Romans 3:23)

We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind,
take us away. (Isaiah 64:6)

But God shows his love
for us in that while
we were still sinners,
Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

And this is eternal life,

that they know you,

the only true God,

and Jesus Christ whom

you have sent. (John 17:3)
